FLIGHT OFFICER SCHOOL - AIRLINE TRANSITION COURSE

Everything is great here! Eagle has been awesome and people
are super friendly and helpful with everything. Our preparation
down there (RAA) was very helpful, and things that we did
gave me a basis for what we are doing here and I do not feel
overwhelmed since attending your school. Talking to other
pilots down here that has not attended a transition course
feel like they are becoming quickly overwhelmed. I thank you;
Alan and all of the other instructors for helping me feel
better prepared for everything that is coming at us.
At this time, we are in the last two weeks, which is sim
rides.
I enjoyed my stay there very much and thank you once again
for preparing me.

Mr. Brewer,
First off, I hope your vacation went well! Secondly, I thought
I'd write you an e-mail about the Pinnacle training and effectiveness
of the Pinnacle Bridge Program. Alan did a great job with
us. He got all of his points across and made the systems simple
and understandable. He was very good at "slowing the
plane down" for us, and after a couple of lessons we
were well ahead of the aircraft. I thought the class was well
worth the money. Chris and I are still in the HR/Operations
phase of training, but I think we can both already see how
necessary the Bridge Program was to our comprehension of topics
here in Memphis.

AIRLINE TRANSITION COURSE

To all the prospective pilots out there that may be reading
this right now, hurry up and get all your ratings and get
to an airline as FAST as possible. With that statement out
of the way, let me describe my experience and knowledge from
now being in the airlines for almost 2 years. I got my ratings
just as many of you are trying to do, but the key difference
that set me apart in my initial hire class at American Eagle
was that I had the experience of Regional Airline Academy's
*Airline Transition Course.*
What is this course you may be asking, well, simply put it
takes the typical Commercial Multi-engine pilot and thrusts
them into a real course developed by the airlines. RAA has
worked hand in hand with many different regional airlines
to produce a fast paced course that introduces you to 121
regulations, *which airlines do NOT teach on their own, they
expect you to know it* the course also introduces jet aircraft
systems, and many other helpful and down right necessary information
for someone to make it at the airline level. In my initial
class at Eagle, there were the typical 1,000 hour pilots that
have cut holes in the sky flying around in a Cessna or Piper
with old steam gauges etc, yet when I was in class I had experienced
Glass Cockpits from RAA's Flight Training Devices, as well
as flying at high speeds, high altitudes, working in a multi-crew
environment, none of which the other candidates had! So I
speak from personal experience when I say I was very well
prepared for the ground and simulator portion of my Airline
Career!
The other great thing that RAA provided that was a stress
reliever is that they not only helped prepare me for my airline
interview, they set it up and brought the airline to the school,
instead of sending me off into foreign territory and getting
me all nervous. So prospective pilot, I only write this to
you to help better inform you on making your path to the airlines
as fast and as straight as possible! Good luck and study hard!

My name is Larry Bruner and I'm currently employed by Comair,"
a subsidiary and wholly owned company of Delta Airlines.
I'm a first officer on the Canadair Regional Jet, which Delta
uses for a great majority of its flight operations within
the United States, Domestic. I am also a graduate of Regional
Airline Academy. My studies at Regional Airline Academy (R.A.A.)
prepared me for this great employment opportunity, as well
as allowed me the opportunity to not only be a student but
also an employee, working as a flight instructor.
From the first time I walked through the doors of the admissions
department it was apparent the caliber of school of which
I would become a part. As I continued to study aviation it
become more apparent the RAA did more than teach students
to fly aircrafts. Regional focuses on developing professionals
as well as shaping individuals into top notch airline pilots.
Regional Airline Academy is not just another school offering
empty promises, they deliver! From the very first class I
was taught the right way to conduct myself as a pilot for
a major airline. Now please dont misunderstand Regional
Airline Academy does not come short of hard work, they do
not believe in taking shortcuts. They believe that things
must be done the correct way each and every time.
If you are considering a job as a pilot in the airline industry,
then youre in good hands with Regional. The tools and
the opportunity that you need to get you where you want to
be are right in front of you. All you have to do is make up
your mind. Being a student at Regional will take a lot of
dedication and responsibility, this will not be an easy journey.
"However", If your looking for the best school out
there, and you want to get in that jet seat faster and more
efficiently than any other competitor in the industry than
you have found the right choice, Regional Airline Academy.
The professional training that you will receive from private
all the way up through the Airline Transition Course will
enable you to be the skilled and professional individual that
the airlines are searching for. For those of you that are
unfamiliar with the Airline Transition Course, make sure you
ask questions about this. I am so glad that I had the opportunity
to go through this class prior to my interviewing process.
It gave me a better understanding of what to expect and what
it would be like once I got out there and started flying the
line. This course is just another example of the diverse tools
that are available for students, in order to assist them in
getting the job done correctly, the first time.
I am writing this simply because of my love for aviation.
Not too long ago, I was standing in the very shoes that youre
wearing today, wandering what to do and where to go. I am
so thankful for everything that I learned while I was at Regional
Airline Academy, because it put me where I am today. I want
people to be able to attain their dreams and aspirations of
being an airline pilot just as I did!!! You have made your
way to the place that can make it happen for you, and I wanted
to personally tell you my story so you have another perspective
in which to base your decision.
Regardless of anything else I have said, remember this.....If
you have a desire in your heart to do this, and then don't
let another day pass. Youre not promised tomorrow start
today!!!!!!!!!

John, the Airline Transition Course CRJ program was an exact
mirror of the ground school I attended for Mesa Airlines Inc.
I really appreciate the quality of your training departments
and all the very professional training I received from March
2007 - August 2007. I completed my Commercial Pilots cert
with RAA and then the Airline Transition course. I was hired
on December 2007 with a class start date of March 10, 2008.
I have completed ground school and I have passed my Oral for
my type rating, now starting the Simulator part of my training
and I will take my type check ride on June 2, 2008.

Training at Regional Airline Academy was one of the greatest
experiences for me. I actually learned the necessary skills
to one day be a great pilot. With the help of great instructors
and staff, I was able to complete my training within 6 months.
I can truly say that RAA is one of the best academies to train
with. The quality of training and excellent instructors at
RAA enables me to get a job with Air India. Air India is the
biggest commercial airline in India.
